Do I need to empty my dresser drawers?

It depends. If there are any breakable items in the drawers we recommend removing those item. If there are just clothes and soft items in the drawers there is no need.

Do I tip the movers?

Tipping is never expected, but always appreciated!

What type of customers have you worked with?

We work with every type! From your everyday person and his family to military personnel, government officials, corporations and businesses, NBA and NFL players, NASCAR drivers, single moms, bachelors, elderly, young professionals, we have even assisted in moving spouses involved in nasty divorces. As always we will honor any and all clients anonymity at their discretion.

Do you provide long distance moving services?

Yes, we are licensed to move in all of Alabama.

Are you able to hold my items on your truck overnight?

Yes, but there may be an extra fee. Please ask for details.

Do you provide storage services?

Yes, we have an onsite storage facility. Please ask for further information.

Do we provide packing services?

Yes, all of our team members are trained in packing services.

Do you offer Crating Services?

We offer this service through a 3rd party vendor. Please ask for pricing.

Do you charge extra for stair carries on local moves?

No, we only charge for the time it takes to complete the move.

Things to Know

Customer

The customer or a representative of the customer must be present throughout the duration of the entire move.

Valuation

We offer zero-deductible full coverage valuation to protect your shipment! The minimum valuation is free and covers .60 cents per pound per article.

Boxes

We sell boxes! Ask about our moving supplies. We offer free local box delivery for orders over $75.00. *We ask that all TVs be boxed for transportation. If you do not have a box, you can purchase one from TSU, or a release of liability must be signed.

Let us do all the work and we’ll schedule an estimator to come out and evaluate your job.

Payment Type

We accept personal checks, cash, and all major credit cards for in-town moves. If you are moving into storage or out of town we accept certified checks, cash, and credit cards. There is a 3% processing fee for all credit card transactions.

Cancellation Policy

We have a 48 business-hour cancellation policy. Please inform us of any cancellations at least 48 business hours before your move, or you will be charged a 2 hour minimum for the number of crew members assigned to your move. We are open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, and our office is closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Hourly Pricing

Please remember that you will only pay for the time it takes to complete your move from when we leave our office until we return. There are no extra travel fees for local moves within a 30 miles radius.

Hazardous Materials

We are unable to transport hazardous materials or liquids. These include liquid cleaning products, combustible liquids, corrosive liquids, explosives, flammables, compressed gases, etc. *See Hazardous Materials attachment for further details.

Miscellaneous Items

In order to utilize all of the space in our truck, and to protect your items from damage, we ask that all miscellaneous items are in boxes prior to transportation.
